Minimum flight training requirements:
- Dual training (at least) 20 hours
- Solo training (at least) 10 hours
- Total Training 40 hours
Aircraft rental:
- C152 $79.00/hour
- C172 $96.00/hour
- Zodiac LSA $108.00/hour
Instructor rates:
- Primary $32.00/hour
- Advanced $38.00/hour
Cost*:
- Flight training - $4,500-$5,500 for the Private Pilot Rating, depending on actual flight time and aircraft type.
- Private Pilot knowledge test materials - varies depending on publisher.
How to get started:
- Discovery flights $75.00 ($10.00 for each additional passenger)
- One way to get started is to go on a discovery flight where you can explore the field of aviation and get your hands on the controls.
Payment:
- Payment is due at the completion of each lesson, unless you put money on account or secure your account with a credit card.
