Ground School

Tulip City Air Service is planning a Ground School to begin March 1, 2010. The class will meet every Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Park Township Airport for 12 weeks. Upon completion of the class, you will be prepared to take the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Exam.

Following is a list of the materials required for the class. The items listed below may be purchased through Tulip City Air Service, Inc. If you already have the required materials, a price reduction will be made for the class.

The instructor fee for the class is $150. Text book and tools purchased through Tulip City Air Service are available at a discount for $39.92 (including tax) and may be purchased at Tulip City Air Service before the class begins.

*This is a slide rule type, hard card board computer - does not need batteries. The instructor suggests purchasing an electronic flight computer - needs batteries. An electronic flight computer may be purchased through Sporty's Pilot Shop for approximately $65. There are other electronic flight computers available, but we can not sell them at as low a price as what Sporty's is selling theirs.
